The Norton Removal Tool Login Required STEP 1
This document is for Norton products downloaded from your service
provider. If you have a different product, or a product that was not
downloaded from your service provider, please go to our main document
and choose the product that you have. Then follow the steps in that
document.
If you have more than one Norton product, be sure to get the product
key, CD or installation file for each product that you want to
reinstall before running the Norton Removal Tool.
STEP 2
Save your Product Key If you downloaded your product from your service
provider, you do not need to get your product key. After you run the
Norton Removal Tool you will need your product installation file so
that you can reinstall your product. If you don't have your product
installation file, contact your service provider and download the
installation file. Once you have the installation file, continue with
STEP 3 below.
STEP 3 Download and run the Norton Removal Tool
The Norton Removal Tool uninstalls all Norton
2008/2007/2006/2005/2004/2003 products and Norton 360 from your
computer. If you use ACT! or WinFAX, back up those databases before you
proceed.

Fix for Outlook 0x80042108 error:
Could not
send or receive emails through outlook. The problem was even though I
did not have Norton installed, it previously came installed on my new
computer. When Norton is uninstalled, it really does not uninstall!
Norton has a tool to completely remove it (it will remove any and all
of your norton products) but the remains of Norton on my computer would
not let me download the removal program!!! So I downloaded the removal
program onto my other computer and saved it to
removable drive and ran it on the troubled notebook from the memory
stick. Now everything works fine! By the way this problem also made it
appear to certain programs that I was not online giving errors such as
you appear not to be connected to internet!
